Reed adds beveler adapters to cordless bevelers line

Quickly and safely bevel plastic pipe on the jobsite with REED portable pipe beveler “CPB” with battery power.

CPB beveler adaptorCPB beveler trims edge of small to large diameter plastic pipe, including pipe already in the ditch. Significantly reduces prep time by rapidly and consistently beveling when doing multiple cuts. Adjustable for bevel length up to 1 inch, the required carbide Router Bits cut evenly and efficiently. Battery-powered, this beveler has no fumes. Plus, the guide plate eliminates guesswork and yields a consistent result. The RPMs from the powerful die grinder provide smooth cuts when paired with REED carbide router bits.

Newly-released Beveler Adapters fit Milwaukee, Bosch or DeWalt die grinders. Beveler adapters permit temporary conversion of the die grinder to serve as a plastic pipe beveler. This allows the operator to work with the battery system of their choice.

Add bevels on most PVC glued joints and some sizes of bell and gasket joints. To prevent damage to the gasket, a pipe bevel is required when installing into a pipe bell. Bevels on cement joints allow for even distribution of solvent cement glue to maximize glue contact area. Always defer to pipe manufacturer specifications for bevel recommendations.

Cordless portable pipe beveler adapts to bevel pipe interiors, too. Electrical and utility contractors deburr to make pipe interiors snag-free for running wires. To create internal bevels, add the REED beveler shroud with guide plate, CPBIDS.
