Pandemic Revenue Index climbs 18.4 percent
Indian River Consulting Group’s (IRCG) weekly Pandemic Revenue Index for the work week of Jan. 4-8 indicated a 18.4 percent increase compared with the same week a year ago.
Out of the 14 reporting firms, 10 respondents reported increases including two reporting greater than 50 percent. Four companies reported declines ranging from 1 percent to 8 percent.
IRCG’s distributor Pandemic Revenue Index gives distributors a weekly quantified view into how other distributors in the industry are faring as the global COVID-19 pandemic progresses.
“Last week, we saw an expected spike due to differences in how the holidays fell last year versus this year. But we again saw strong sales growth to start the year in our first non-holiday week,” said Mike Emerson, IRCG partner.
