Kimball Midwest recognized for training
Columbus, Ohio-based Kimball Midwest moved up this year on Training magazine's list that recognizes companies with exceptional training programs.
Training magazine, a publication for learning and development professionals, announced the 2021 members of its Training Top 100 during a virtual gala held Feb. 8.
Kimball Midwest was ranked 84th, up from 111th in 2020, when the magazine recognized 125 companies.
“We salute these best-in-class organizations for their steadfast dedication to continuous employee learning and development; their agility and innovation in transforming their training delivery in response to the pandemic; and their passionate commitment to the current and future success of their people,” said Lorri Freifeld, Training magazine editor-in-chief.
The Training Top 100 ranking is based on benchmarking statistics and a range of qualitative and quantitative factors, including total training budget, scope of training programs provided, detailed formal and informal training programs, training being linked to business goals and business outcomes resulting from training.
“We are incredibly proud of the dedication of our training team in supporting Kimball Midwest through the challenges of 2020,” said Patrick McCurdy, executive vice president of sales and marketing. “Their focus and adaptability in the face of unprecedented change helped turn obstacles into solid business outcomes.”
