B&B Manufacturing acquires Plastic PowerDrive Products
B&B Manufacturing announced that it has purchased the assets, inventory, tooling, and rights to Plastic PowerDrive Products.
Formerly based in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, Plastic PowerDrive Products manufactures gears, pulleys, flexible beam couplers, bearings, bushings, and sprockets and other power transmission and motion control components. Production has been moved to B&B Manufacturing's La Porte, Indiana, manufacturing facility.
"Our company looks forward to utilizing our 20 years of experience in the power transmission and precision mechanical markets to serve our customers in an extended capacity. With this purchase, we can now manufacture catalog and custom timing pulleys, spur gears, bevel gears, and gear rack out of various plastic resins,” said Bob Hamilton, CEO of B&B Manufacturing.
B&B Manufacturing produces and distributes custom and standard U.S. made synchronous drive products that include timing belt pulleys, roller chain sprockets and related parts for the power transmission and precision mechanical component industries.
B&B also recently announced the opening of a warehouse in Dallas, which stocks more than $500,000 in inventory for customers in the South region of the United States.
