Vallen promotes Timmons to CFO
Vallen Distribution has appointed Sonia Timmons as its chief financial officer, effective March 1.
Timmons joined the company in 2007 as senior financial analyst. Since then, her career has progressed to manager of financial planning and analysis, director of corporate finance, vice president of financial planning and analysis, and her most recent role as senior vice president of finance.
She has provided strategic leadership across North America, organizing and directing operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, revenue cycles, accounts payable, accounts receivable, accounting policies, and controls. Her tenure has included mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, where she provided financial information and acumen that bolstered the decision-making process and maximized value for our organization.

In addition to her corporate leadership, Timmons has been instrumental in the professional growth and development of women and minorities through her participation in the creation of two employee resource groups.
