Columbus McKinnon sales decline 1.7 percent

Despite stronger sales outside of the United States, Columbus McKinnon reported that its fourth quarter sales declined by 1.7 percent from the same period last year.


Columbus McKinnon Corporation reported sales of $186.2 million for its fiscal year 2021 fourth quarter, compared to $189.5 million last year.

U.S. sales of $94.8 million declined 8.9 percent from $104.1 million. Non-U.S. sales of $91.4 million increased 7 percent from $85.4 million.

Net income of $9.6 million, or 39 cents per diluted share, improved from income of $9.2 million, or 39 cents, from the same period last year.

Revenue recovered sequentially throughout fiscal 2021 almost approaching levels recorded in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2020 when the COVID-19 global pandemic had an approximate $10 million impact on revenue
