CDO John Hill leaves MSC

DigitalCommerce360 reports that MSC Industrial Chief Digital Officer John Hill stepped down on June 12. MSC made the announcement in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.


A severance package of $550,000 will be paid to Hill over 12 months.

Hill joined the company in April of 2022.

According the DigitalCommerce360 article by Mark Brohan, MSC has appointed Brian Bello as interim chief digital officer, who has been with the company since 2008. He has served as vice president of data strategy and analytics, as well as vice president in charge of enterprise transformation and analytics, and as vice president of IT applications development.

On an earnings call, MSC's Erik Gershwind told analysts, "Alan Yang, also an experienced leader with us for over 15 years, maintains his role as chief technology officer.”
