Vallen names Harris director of metalworking
Vallen Distribution Inc. has named Rick Harris director of metalworking.
Harris will be responsible for all metalworking-related functions including training and marketing, and managing relationships with suppliers and metalworking specialists. Harris has 30 years of experience in industrial distribution and has held various roles including director of sales.
“We are pleased to have Rick Harris on board,” said Jeff Greene, vice president of product marketing at Vallen. “He brings a range of metalworking knowledge in addition to his experience in integrated supply and supply chain management, which is especially helpful as we continue to expand our metalworking category.”
Vallen is headquartered in Belmont, North Carolina, and is a subsidiary of Sonepar USA, part of the global Sonepar family.
