Gemtex Abrasives announces 50th anniversary
Gemtex Abrasives announced it will begin celebrating its 50th anniversary October 1.
The original and only manufacturer of Trim-Kut discs, Gemtex Abrasives was founded in 1975 and became the low-cost Resin Fibre Disc producer focusing on the environment.
The process and products are designed around reducing and recycling, thereby providing many cost advantages. The company notes it was environmentally responsible long before it was popular.
Gemtex produces and markets a full range of coated and bonded abrasives for grinding, sanding, surface conditioning, and finishing. Its products are sold worldwide to the industrial, automotive, aerospace, marine, metal fabrication, natural gas production, petrochemical, and retail markets under Gemtex and private label brands made at its manufacturing facility and corporate headquarters in Toronto, Canada.
