Lawson Products sales rise 16.9 percent

Lawson Products said its third quarter sales of $105.6 million increased by 16.9 percent from $90.3 million in the prior year quarter.

Average daily sales of $1.65 million improved from $1.41 million last year.

Net income of $3.7 million, or 39 cents per diluted share, compared to $1.7 million, or 19 cents, in last year's third quarter.

"During the quarter, sales grew nearly 17 percent over the prior year quarter to $106 million benefiting from our 2020 acquisition of Partsmaster as well as strong sales in our Lawson MRO and The Bolt Supply House businesses. We continue to strengthen our financial position to support future growth," said Mike DeCata, president and chief executive officer.
