InCord achieves WOSB certification

InCord has been certified as a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), recognizing Meredith Shay and Robin Ritz as sole owners of the manufacturing business on a federal level.

WOSB status provides bidding opportunities – and a business edge – to InCord for all state and federal jobs. The SBA plans to award at least 5% of all federal contracting dollars to women-owned small businesses annually.

“We’re excited to have achieved this certification,” said Shay. “It allows us to demonstrate our values and capabilities to more clients. We can connect with companies who share our commitment to diversity and inclusion.”

Located in Colchester, Connecticut, the company has a 27-year history of manufacturing unique netting systems for the material handling, construction, automotive, amusement, and sports industries. InCord has been honored with Connecticut’s best workplace awards since 2011.
