Harrington Hoists earns ISO 9001:2008 certification
Harrington Hoists Inc. announced that it has achieved the ISO 9001:2008 certification.
The intention of seeking this certification is to improve business performance by implementing processes that will ensure the company meets or exceeds customer needs.
"Harrington has always been customer focused and we strive to provide quality on every level" says Bret Lussow, business development sales manager. "So this was a logical step and it reinforces our commitment to providing our customers with the highest quality product, service and support."
Certification was issued after a complete review and audit, by an accredited registrar, of the company's processes in regards to the design, manufacture and sales of material handling products such as manual, electric and air chain hoists, wire rope hoists, crane systems and crane components.
In 1998, Harrington's parent company, Kito Corporation, was awarded the ISO 9001 certificate and in 2001 achieved the ISO 14001 certificate.
