MRC files IPO
MRC Global Inc., formerly McJunkin Red Man Holding Corporation, has taken steps to become a publicly held corporation.
The Houston-based distributor of pipe, valve, and fittings (PVF) and related products and services announced that it filed a registration statement with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission related to a proposed initial public offering of its common stock. The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the offering have not yet been determined. An application will be made to list the common stock on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "MRC."
