Bostwick-Braun acquires JMC Sales & Engineering

Toledo, Ohio-based Bostwick-Braun Company announced that it purchased JMC Sales & Engineering of Indianapolis.

JMC also operates a branch in Fort Wayne, Ind.

Dave Mayer, who was sole owner of the firm, will serve as president and chief operating officer of JMC Sales and Engineering, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Bostwick-Braun Company.

JMC employs 28 associates, and serves customers in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. The company offers programs in inventory and commodity management, integrated supply, and cutting tool management. "With these solutions, customers have access to onsite engineering and crib management, kitting, tool presetting, point-of-use delivery, customized cabinet logistics and vending and tool distribution machines," the company said in a prepared statement.

"We see a tremendous upside for both JMC and Bostwick-Braun Industrial Supply in this merger. Each organization has unique areas of expertise to share. Product offerings compliment nicely with very little overlap. Expanded market baskets, enhanced programs/services and joint marketing efforts will give customers the total solutions that they are looking for today," said William R. Bollin, Bostwick-Braun chairman and CEO.
