Fastenal net sales rise 7% in January
Fastenal reported January net sales climbed 6.9% to $6.9 million.
The company did 82.1% of its sales for the month in the U.S., and daily sales growth here was 10.8%.
Non-residential construction was Fastenal's highest daily sales growth end market at 16.2%, and heavy manufacturing represented 43.6% of the month's sales.
Daily sales growth by customer usage was:
- Direct fasteners/hardware – 13.4%
- Direct cutting tools and abrasives – 10.2%
- Direct non-fasteners/hardware – 13.3%
