Fairmont announces expansion
Fairmont Supply Company opened a new oil and gas service center in West Virginia and relocated a southern Indiana facility.
New opportunities in the oil and gas industry led to the opening of an oil and gas service center in Jane Lew, W.Va. The 20,000 sq. ft. building is located on nine acres. It features a walk-up storefront counter and inventory to support oil and gas drilling, production and gathering operations, including safety supplies, pipe, valves, fittings, rig supplies, tanks, containments, tools, hose products, drilling/production chemicals, production equipment and more.
“The Marcellus shale play is a great opportunity for Fairmont Supply to broaden our reach and to better service the exploration and other business in the Jane Lew area. To date, this new facility brings our total number of oil and gas specific service centers to five," said Van Compagni, president, Fairmont Supply Company.
Growth of its customer base within the mining industry prompted the move of its Evansville, Ind., customer service center to a larger facility in Princeton, Ind.
The new warehouse is 45,000 square feet and significantly increases stocking capabilities for the region.
“We are excited to open a new larger warehouse and office in Princeton. This facility is in close proximity to our customers and will allow us to broaden our product offering and enhance our service,” said Compagni.
