Ethisphere names Grainer one of 'World's Most Ethical Companies'
Grainger  has received the 2025 World's Most Ethical Companies recognition by Ethisphere, a global firm that defines and advances the standards of ethical business practices.
It is Grainger's first time applying for and receiving the recognition, placing the company as one of only four honorees in its industry. In 2025, 136 organizations were recognized from 19 countries and 44 industries.
"Doing the right thing not only informs how we do business but also how we treat one another," said Nancy Berardinelli-Krantz, Grainger's senior vice president and chief legal officer. "Operating with integrity has been core to who we are for almost a century and is essential to our long-term success."

The 2025 World's Most Ethical Companies Honorees outperformed a comparable index of global companies by 7.8 percentage points from January 2020 to January 2025.
Methodology & Scoring
The World's Most Ethical Companies assessment is grounded in Ethisphere's proprietary Ethics Quotient, which requires companies to provide 240+ different proof points on practices that support robust ethics and compliance; governance; a culture of ethics; environmental and social impact; and initiatives that support a strong value chain. That data undergoes further qualitative analysis by a panel of experts who spend thousands of hours vetting and evaluating each year's group of applicants. This process serves as an operating framework to capture and codify best-in-class ethics and compliance practices from organizations across industries and from around the world.
