Winsupply acquires Rural Pipe & Supply in Texas
Winsupply Inc., one of the nation's largest wholesale distributors, has acquired a Texas company with two locations.
Rural Pipe & Supply is a first-generation, family-owned and operated business founded in 1999 by Tommy and Amanda Shaver. Headquartered in Jasper, Texas, the company operates a second location, Rural Pipe & Plumbing Supply, in Livingston.
The company specializes in providing a wide range of waterworks and construction-related materials, including PVC and HDPE pressure pipe, sewer pipe and fittings, irrigation pipe, and cast iron pipe products. Serving contractors, municipalities, and residential customers, Rural Pipe & Supply supports essential infrastructure and construction projects throughout the region.
"This acquisition is a strategic move that expands our presence in the dynamic Texas waterworks market," said Jeff Dice, president of Winsupply Inc. "This deal aligns perfectly with our decentralized model, allowing us to quickly integrate a partner where we can add immediate value."
The company has a total of 18 employees, including owners Tommy and Amanda Shaver. Both owners will remain with the company in leadership roles.

The deal is Winsupply's second acquisition of fiscal year 2027. The company acquired Central Corp. in Wisconsin in February.
"It is an excellent addition that accelerates growth and allows us to pick up market share in this critical geography," Dice said.
