Manufacturers rep leader marks 35 years serving the Mid Atlantic
Lee S. Johnson, Jr., president of Lee S. Johnson Associates Inc., a manufacturers representative in the industrial channel, announced he is celebrating 35 years in the industry.
The agency serves the Mid Atlantic states of Pennsylvanioa, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, New York, and Virgina.
Lee Jr. started working for his father, Lee S. Johnson Sr., in 1991 as an outside sales intern. Lee Sr. started the agency in 1984 — the agency celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2024.
“I am thankful and blessed by God to have been given the opportunity to do what I do for the past 35 years," said Lee Jr. "I have been very conscious over these past years to continue to steer the ship that my dad built and keep it clear of any icebergs. I thank all those who have worked for the agency over the years, helping us achieve our longevity. We have also worked with some great principals over the years who have seen our value and rewarded us with their loyalty.
"I look forward to hopefully seeing a third generation continue the agency in the future. Until then, I'll keep adding to the almost 1 million miles I have put on the road seeing customers from Virgina to New York."
The agency today employees three full time sales agents and two sub-reps.
