Intelligrated, Trew and Transnorm taps new chief operating officer  

After spending more than 25 years buying, implementing and operating warehouse automation systems, Cortney Hunt has been appointed chief operating officer (COO) of the newly combined Intelligrated, Trew and Transnorm organization.

“Cortney brings a unique perspective to our organization, having spent decades on the customer side responsible for buying automation, approving capital projects, opening distribution centers and holding suppliers accountable,” said Al Rebello, CEO of the combined Intelligrated, Trew and Transnorm organization. “That firsthand experience will reinforce a customer-first culture across our organization, one that listens, understands what matters and stays focused on delivering it.”

Hunt's career spans more than 30 years of supply chain operations and engineering, including 25 years at McLane Company Inc., where he was responsible for strategically implementing automation technologies and building high-performing teams to support complex distribution center operations. His work at McLane covered more than 250 projects across a network of 72 facilities, including strategy, facility design, build and startup of fully automated DCs, and major warehouse and transportation software initiatives.

As an operator, he spent decades selecting automation, leading large-scale implementations and delivering business results from those investments across one of North America's largest supply chain networks.

He joined Trew as COO in 2025 and now holds the same role for the combined Intelligrated, Trew and Transnorm organization.

As COO, Hunt leads solutions development, engineering, manufacturing and project delivery across the organization, with responsibility for operational excellence. He also serves as a key leader in the transition planning and integration of the combined organization.

“Bringing these businesses together gives customers not only exceptional scale and an established install base, but the speed and flexibility to deliver what they need, when and how they need it,” said Hunt. “My job is to make sure that shows up where it counts, with solutions designed right the first time, built well, installed on schedule and launched smoothly.
