Sphere 1 welcomes new director of training
Sphere 1, a member-owned cooperative serving the construction and industrial supply industry, hired Wade McCone as the director of training.
He will be the lead expert and developer on all Sphere 1 training platforms and events, building programs designed to deliver lasting value to the cooperative's members and supplier partners.
"Wade has an industry reputation that precedes him in the best way possible," said Sphere 1 President Mike Shumard. "He has a genuine passion for education, and a proven track record of helping companies and people grow. We're incredibly lucky to have him join our team, and we're excited about the impact he will make on our cooperative."
McCone joins Sphere 1 with more than two decades of industry experience. Since 2003, he led training and education efforts at Evergreen Supply Network, where he played a central role in growing the organization's training and accreditation programs to national recognition. His work there earned him wide respect across the industry for combining technical depth with a hands-on, people-first approach to development.
