CMCO launches 2026 Lifting for the Troops campaign

Columbus McKinnon Corporation (CMCO), a supplier of intelligent motion solutions,  announced this week the launch of its 2026 fundraising campaign in support of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation's Mae and George Siller Scholarship Program.

Running from Sept. 1 through Nov. 11, the campaign brings together employees, customers, distributors, suppliers and community supporters to help raise funds to support the Tunnel to Towers Scholarship Program, ensuring that every hero's child has the support to pursue their education and build a life of purpose.

Since 2019, the company has raised $350,000 to support children who have lost a parent while serving in the U.S. military, helping provide opportunities for college and other higher education pursuits.

"For six years, employees, customers, distributors, and partners from across our organization have come together to make a meaningful difference, raising funds and awareness in support of veterans and their families," said CMCO President and Chief Executive Officer David J. Wilson. "As we continue this important tradition, we are proud to build on the strong foundation established over the years and further expand the impact we can make together."

Throughout the campaign, CMCO will raise funds through a variety of initiatives designed to engage employees, customers and partners across its network:

$500 for Every Training Event: From Sept. 1 through Nov. 11, CMCO will donate $500 for every in-person Harrington, Yale, Crosby, Gunnebo Industries, Peerless , Magnetek, Dorner, montrac and Duff-Norton training event hosted during the campaign period.

Online Education: For the length of the campaign, the Company will donate 100% of proceeds from purchases of the Crosby User's Guide for Lifting online courses.

Channel Partners: CMCO is also inviting customers and business partners to participate directly. Distributors, channel partners and end users can become official campaign sponsors with a donation of $500 or more.

The company aims to secure more than 60 campaign sponsors this year while increasing participation across its global network of employees, customers, and stakeholders.
