Wesco names vice president, supplier relations for Electrical & Electronic Solutions
Wesco promoted Ben Jaffe to vice president, supplier relations within the company's Electrical & Electronic Solutions (EES) organization, effective Sept. 7.
Jaffe will lead EES supplier strategy, executive engagement, category performance, pricing and assortment strategy, working capital optimization and field alignment. He will work across the company to strengthen supplier partnerships and drive growth across Wesco's electrical and electronic portfolio.
"Building on his success leading our global security and pro AV supplier strategy, Ben will help deepen trusted supplier relationships and create new opportunities for mutual growth and success across our electrical and electronic portfolio," said Danny Castillo, executive vice president and general manager, Electrical & Electronic Solutions for Wesco. “The appointment reflects Wesco's continued focus on strengthening strategic supplier partnerships to support customers across industrial markets.”
Jaffe joined Wesco in 2018 and most recently served as senior director, global supplier relations for the company's Communications & Security Solutions organization, where he led supplier partnerships across the security and professional audio-visual businesses. During his 20-year career, he has led teams spanning supplier relations, sales operations, global procurement and transportation management in both manufacturing and distribution organizations.
Succeding Peter Bordonaro, who retired after 34 years with the company, Jaffe will be based in Wesco's Glenview, Illinois, office and will report to Castillo.
