Industrial Supply Company expands Salt Lake City headquarters
Industrial Supply Company acquired the property directly east of its Salt Lake City headquarters at 229 West Harris Avenue.
The purchase brings the entire block under company ownership, expanding the 300 West campus that has served as headquarters since 1964, following its early years on Social Hall Avenue where the company was founded in 1916.
The purchase adds more than 18,000 square feet of warehouse and office space, providing operational relief across the organization’s network following a record-setting year. The expanded footprint will optimize inventory flow and increase operational efficiency.
“Our family has been investing in this business for four generations, and this acquisition represents one of the most significant investments in our recent history,” said CEO Jessica Yurgaitis. “This is more than a physical expansion. It is a direct investment in our 250 team members, our customers, and the Salt Lake City community that has supported us for decades.”
Beyond immediate capacity needs, the property acquisition lays the groundwork for future long-term development, opening the door for a larger, integrated distribution center in the years ahead.
Planning and site evaluations for the newly acquired space will begin immediately.
