Platinum Tooling introduces first private label custom machining center tooling
Expanding beyond standard tooling, Platinum Tooling announced it now offers custom machining center tooling solutions, designed around the unique requirements of each application.

From modifications to existing tooling to completely new designs, our team combines precision, expertise and application-focused engineering to solve challenging tooling needs. These products are offered under the brand name of Platinum Tooling and represent the company’s first venture into private label tools.
“Over the years, we’ve had numerous shops and production department customers ask us for special modifications to existing tools," said President Preben Hansen. "To be honest, I’ve always hated saying ‘no’ to any customer request. As a result, we embarked on a journey to enhance our staff capabilities on the engineering front, plus we searched the supplier base for a shop capable of fulfilling our needs for custom tooling. In most cases, our creation of a special tool has led to additional orders from customers and, in some cases, created a new catalog item for us.”
Custom solutions currently offered to the machine tool market include fixed-angle, long-reach, slim-style, 3- and 4-pin support designs for added stability and machine-specific, bolt-on configurations, providing the flexibility to meet specialized machining requirements.
