ISA announces chair, vice chair for Emerging Leaders
Caroline Hains, senior manager, category management, at Vallen is the new chair of the ISA Emerging Leaders Network, and Peter Vagnoni, director, channel, at Brady Corp. is serving as vice chair. Both stepped into their roles on Oct. 1.
Hains previously served as vice chair, where she helped drive the programming and connections that make the network what it is. Now she takes the lead.
“Emerging Leaders is where the next generation of this channel finds its voice,” said Hains. “I’ve watched people walk into their first ISA event knowing no one and leave with a network they’ll lean on for years. My goal is simple: get more rising talent in the room and give them a reason to stay.”
Vagnoni brings a manufacturer’s perspective and a passion for developing talent across the channel.
“The best investment any company can make is in its people,” said Vagnoni. “This network gives you real tools, real connections, and a seat at the table early in your career. I’m excited to help Caroline build on that.”
ISA recognizes outgoing Chair Darryl Woods Jr. for his years on the committee, including the last two as chair. Many of the Emerging Leaders initiatives offered today started with Woods bringing the committee together to plan and build. He took the stage at ISA events to speak on leadership, showed up with big ideas, and has pushed the committee to do more for the network.
Hains and Vagnoni will attend ISA’s Fall Summit, October 26–28, 2026, in San Antonio. Attendees are encouraged to connect with them and share what they want to see from Emerging Leaders next.
