ISA launches new Industrial Sales Academy

The Industrial Supply Association (ISA) has launched the Industrial Sales Academy, a brand-new training and certification program designed to help sales professionals sharpen their skills, close faster, and deliver measurable results.


The new program blends modern learning methods with real-world application to help companies and individuals upskill their sales performance in today’s competitive market.

To kick off the launch, ISA will host a free live webinar, “A Look Inside ISA’s Industrial Sales Academy,” on November 18 at 1 p.m. ET. The 30-minute session with live Q&A will give members and industry professionals an inside look at how the program works and the value it delivers for individuals, teams, and companies.

A Modern Approach to Sales Training

ISA’s Industrial Sales Academy combines micro-learning, live workshops, peer discussions, and data-driven analytics that track progress and performance improvement.

The program offers flexible learning options, including single courses or multi-course certifications, along with interactive, on-demand training that features role-play, case discussions, and expert-led sessions. For teams, custom company programs allow organizations of 10 or more participants to access tailored scheduling, curated content, and, with an upgrade, advanced analytics that reveal strengths, benchmark progress, and highlight areas for growth.

“Our goal with the Industrial Sales Academy is to give sales professionals a training experience that’s relevant, practical, and built for results,” said ISA President and CEO Brendan Breen. “This program builds confidence, sharpens selling skills, and helps leaders gain the insight they need to guide their teams more effectively.”

Program Options

Participants can choose from several formats to fit their learning goals and company needs:

Individual Courses: Sharpen one skill at a time with a single course. Learners access a personal dashboard with detailed performance analytics.

Industrial Sales Certification: Bundle three or six courses to earn certification. (Choose Core, Advanced, or Full Package.)

Team & Company Programs: Launch a private program for teams of 10+ with tailored scheduling and learning experiences.

Company-Exclusive Team Analytics: Upgrade to include the Analytics Package, which benchmarks team performance to highlight strengths, expose gaps, and show measurable impact.
