2026 PTDA Foundation increases scholarships

Entering its third year, the PTDA Foundation's scholarship program has raised the number of student scholarships from five to eight and employee scholarships from four to six.

The increase reflects the programs significant growth in 2025 when it received 222 applications compared to 32 in its inaugural year.

“The scholarship program reflects our ongoing commitment to strengthening the PT/MC industry through education and opportunity,” says Mike McLain, PTDA Foundation president. “By supporting students and employees who are interested in this field, we’re helping build a deeper, more prepared talent pool for the future. The steady increase in applicants highlights the great interest and opportunities in a career and vital PT/MC industry.”

Student scholarships offer financial support to those studying engineering, manufacturing, supply chain or other PT/MC-related fields in North America. Applicants must be enrolled or recently accepted into a trade school, technical school, community college or four-year university.

Employee scholarships provide financial assistance to full-time employees of PT/MC employers in North America. Applicants must be enrolled in a trade school, technical school, community college, university, continuing education program or pursuing an industry-relevant certification. Eligible studies include engineering, technology or business in a PT/MC-related field.

Applications for both scholarships can be found online at ptdafoundation.org/scholarships. The application deadline is June 1. Awardees will be selected in August.
