Ficodis acquires Tytan Glove and Safety
Ficodis Group, based in Quebec, acquired Tytan Glove and Safety, an Ontario supplier of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety services.
Ficondis says the addition of distribution centers in Guelph (Ontario) and Edmonton (Alberta) strengthens its nationwide footprint, enhances its ability to deliver rapidly to jobsites, and deepens its occupational health and safety offering.
Nationwide Ordering and Delivery Capabilities
The acquisition reinforces Ficodis’ ability to serve customers across Canada, notably through the integration of Tytan’s online ordering platform, which complements its existing distribution network. Supported by strategically located distribution centres in Ontario and Alberta, this expanded infrastructure supports more efficient nationwide delivery tailored to the needs of industrial customers.
It also reinforces key strategic partnerships, including the exclusive Canadian distribution of Magid products, a brand recognized for its innovative protective gloves. This marks Ficodis’ first health and safety-focused acquisition since Mackenzie Milne in 2020.
