Ferraro joined Guardair in October 2017 with a background in marketing technology and digital advertising. Since that time, he has held the position of digital marketing specialist and has been instrumental in Guardair’s on-line success.

In his new role, he will develop and manage strategic marketing programs and optimize omnichannel opportunities in parallel with continuous company growth.

“His contributions have helped expand our web presence and web sales,” said Tom Tremblay, president of Guardair Corporation, a manufacturer of OSHA compliant safety air guns and pneumatic vacuums. “We look forward to the role the marketing department will play in our future success as Thomas continues to apply his digital expertise and provides leadership to our marketing team.”

Burkins brings 35 years of experience in the industrial MRO space. Most recently, he was the director of operations and engineering for Lenox, Stanley Black & Decker in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts.

Burkins will oversee all manufacturing operations. His focus is optimizing production through strategic planning, continuous process improvement, high quality control and safety procedures.

“Scott’s track record of advancing operational capabilities by bolstering productivity and implementing quality control will help meet the growing needs of our customers,” said Tremblay.
