Ingersoll-Rand revenue up 8 percent
Ingersoll-Rand plc reported fourth-quarter revenue of $3.9 billion, 8 percent higher than the $3.6 billion reported in the same period last year.
Net earnings of $254 million, or $1.03 per share, compared to earnings of $460 million, or $1.81 in last year's fourth quarter.
For the year, the company reported profit of $1.34 billion, or $5.35 per share. Revenue was reported as $15.67 billion.
Industrial segment revenues of $894 million were 4 percent higher than the fourth quarter of last year.
