Bostwick-Braun Industrial names new president

Bostwick-Braun Company of Toledo, Ohio, named Matt Mazur as president and chief operating officer of the Bostwick-Braun Industrial Supply Division.


Mazur will oversee the Bostwick-Braun Industrial branch office in Avon, Ohio, a sales office in Toledo, plus JMC Sales & Engineering in Indianapolis and Fort Wayne, Ind.

Mazur holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Miami, Ohio, and has an extensive background in the industrial supply channel. He has been employed as an account manager for Norton Abrasives, and held several positions with Strong Tool Company, the Cleveland, Ohio-based cutting tools distributor where he rose to the position of vice president of sales.

After the sale of Strong Tool, he transitioned to Strong's former parent company, Kennametal, becoming a charter member of the Global Key Accounts Management team. While there, he was responsible for global sales initiatives and key strategic accounts that included Timken, Dana, Daimler-Chrysler, Eaton, Parker Hannifin and others. He was employed by Advanced Technology Services, an outsourcing company specializing in factory maintenance services, as a strategic account manager and new business development manager before joining The Bostwick-Braun Company.
