Fastenal reports 9.6% sales growth for February
Fastenal released its February 2023 net sales of slightly over $582 million, a 9.6% increase over the same period of 2022. Daily sales were reported at just above $29 million.
Sales growth was highest in Canada/Mexico at 15.8%, and U.S. growth was tallied at 9.1%. Rest of world dropped from 2022's 7.9% down to just .1% for February.
Manufacturing dominated growth by end market at 15,%, down from last year's 25.8%. Non-residential construction was minus 1.8%, plummeting from 19.5% in February 2022.
Fasteners daily sales growth was 8%; and safety sales were up 3.2%.
