DXP Enterprises 2020 sales decline 21 percent

DXP Enterprises reported sales of $1.0 billion for 2020, a decline of nearly 21 percent from $1.3 billion the previous year.


A net loss of $28.8 million, or a loss of $1.62 per diluted share, compared to net income of $35.9 million, or income of $1.96 per share, in 2019.

In the fourth quarter, sales of $232.7 million fell 21.2 percent from $295.5 million in the fourth quarter last year. A net loss of $1.9 million, or a loss of 11 cents per share, compared to net income of $2.1 million, or 12 cents, in last year's fourth quarter.

Fourth-quarter sales increased 5.7 percent from $220.2 million in the third quarter. Sales in the fourth quarter included $4.9 million from acquisitions.
