Pelican Products names director of case product development
Pelican Products Inc. recently promoted Scott Bossenbroek to director of case product development.
Bossenbroek joined Pelican as a senior mechanical engineer in 2008 and has been integral in Pelican’s new product research and development initiatives. Over the past few years, he has overseen the team that develops all of Pelican’s injection molded cases. Most notably, he led teams for the Pelican Air case line launched in 2016, and the Vault by Pelican, rugged case line launched in 2018.
“Scott’s instinctual engineering skill set combined with his cool head and an easy leadership style has made him a truly effective leader,” said Kevin Deighton, Pelican’s vice president of research and product development. “Scott has played a vital role over the last decade in sustaining Pelican’s position as market leader.”
Before joining Pelican, Bossenbroek worked for 12 years as an engineer in the automotive industry. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine.
