Cline Tool acquires Davis Tool
Cline Tool, a custom tool manufacturer headquartered in Newton, Iowa, recently acquired Davis Tool, a manufacturer of boring bars, block cutters and tool sets.
Davis Tool's modular boring system provides both flexibility and durability for vertical and horizontal boring machines and machining centers.
“We look forward to supporting existing Davis customers with replacement components and assisting them with reviewing new applications,” said Jim Long, Cline Tool president and CEO.
Cline also announced that the company is now the master U.S. distributor for Erix Tool products. The Sweden-based Erix Tool provides precision-engineered tools for front and back spotfacing, chamfering and deburring.
