Pinnacle Tool & Supply acquires Industrial Metalworking Supply
Toledo, Ohio-based Pinnacle Tool & Supply has acquired Industrial Metalworking Supply of Brecksville, Ohio.
Industrial Metalworking Supply is a distributor of abrasives, cutting tools, cutting fluids and electrical discharge machining (EDM) supplies. Following the acquisition, IMS was moved into Pinnacle's location in Solon, Ohio, which was established when Pinnacle acquired W. Lewis Sales Co. in 2019.
Owned by Tim McNeeley and Mike Sauppe, Pinnacle is a distributor of cutting tools, abrasives and cutting fluids that serves customers in northern Ohio, southeast Michigan and northeast Indiana.
"The IMS purchase continued our growth in that market as well as strengthening our core product offerings. It also introduced a new product area for us, EDM. Their knowledge and vast offering of EDM supplies is key to bringing more value to our customers," said McNeeley.
"We will continue to look for acquisition opportunities that make sense geographically and with the right products. It’s not just about getting larger, we need to continue to add value to our customers," said Sauppe.
