Brook Electrical Supply now operating as Viking Electric
Viking Electric announced that Brook Electrical Supply is now operating as Viking Electric.
Earlier in the year, it was announced that the two Sonepar USA operating companies would join forces as one organization.
Since that time, Viking Electric has assumed operations of Brook’s three locations in the Chicago area, and is rebranding these locations under the Viking Electric name. The three new Viking Electric locations are being managed by Terry Reister, Viking Electric’s Director of Business Operations - Chicago.
“As we transition from Brook Electrical to the Viking Electric name, we will build on Brook’s long-term market presence in the Chicago area,” Reister said. “We are excited for the opportunity to leverage the talents of our Chicago associates, move forward with the Viking Electric brand name in the Chicago area, and help our customers grow in this market,” he said.
Viking Electric was founded in 1964 with its headquarters in Minneapolis, and now operates 24 branch locations across Minnesota, Wisconsin and in the Chicago area.
“As we rebrand Brook Electrical to Viking Electric, we will continue to adapt and grow with our customers and associates in the Chicago market,” said Stacy Stanslaski, Viking Electric president. “Viking Electric remains committed to our company’s vision to be the indispensable electrical supply chain partner central to our customers’ success,” she said.
