MCE acquires Lone Star Machine Works

Motion & Control Enterprises (MCE) has acquired Lone Star Machine Works based in Mabank, Texas.


MCE logoLSMW was founded in 2000 and is a full-service provider of hydraulic repair, precision machining, welding, and fabrication services. The company has 42 associates and services industrial end-user and OEM customers across Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas.

Mikel Payne, LSMW owner said, “This combination will allow us to accelerate the expansion of our served geography and capabilities utilizing the resources and support provided by MCE.” 

MCE is a supplier of technical fluid power, automation, flow control, compressed air and lubrication products, services, and solutions. The company serves more than 15,000 MRO and OEM customers from 27 facilities across the Great Lakes, upper Midwest, Southwest and beyond. The company is majority-owned by Frontenac, a Chicago-based private equity firm.
