Motion Industries introduces Tape Caddy
This week, Motion Industries Inc. announced a new exclusive product, the Motion Tape Caddy.
Floor marking tapes in material handling environments require periodic replacement due to standard wear and changing traffic control layouts. To address this, the Motion Repair & Services team engineered the Motion Tape Caddy, a patent-pending portable cart designed to streamline tape management.
Key features and benefits:
- Powered wire brush system to remove paint stripping
- Ultra-hot steam vapor up to 190 degrees at 90 psi; up to 1.25 hours of continuous, dry steam before recharge
- Portability and parking brake for efficient use
- QEP floor scraper with foam grip; telescoping handle for an ergonomic, adjustable floor scraping; and safe blade-change method
- Easy recharge access to AC outlets with 45-inch reeled/retractable cord
- Ample tape roll storage for easy access to all colors, patterns and styles of floor tape
“Frequent changes in traffic control and walkway paths require removal of old tape and placement of new,” said Scott Smith, division sales manager, Motion Repair & Services. “We designed a solution to efficiently service the customer’s floor and safety taping at their distribution centers. The basic unit’s unique properties are really its key features: Self-contained with an onboard power source; scraper tool blade change holder for safe removal and install of blades, and onboard steam supply. And the cart can be customized for a facility’s specific requirements and environment.”
