Daniel Pfisterer was named product manager of TruPunch and TruMatic products, Andreas Bunz was appointed head of robotics at TRUMPF’s Chicago-area Smart Factory, Steffen Sickinger was chosen as the new Western states manager and director of the TRUMPF Inc. Technology Center in California, and Flor Ariza has become the new TRUMPF regional sales manager for Florida, Alabama, Tennessee and Mississippi.
Based at TRUMPF Inc. headquarters in Farmington, Connecticut, Pfisterer will be responsible for TRUMPF’s line of precision punching and combination punch-laser machines. He is also currently the TRUMPF Inc. national sales manager for TruTools portable power tools. In his seven-year tenure at TRUMPF, Pfisterer has developed extensive product and customer knowledge, having worked as an applications engineer and then as a sales engineer for TruPunch and TruMatic machines in North America.
Bunz will lead a new initiative at TRUMPF to identify, develop and realize custom robotic applications for manufacturers in the sheet metal and fabrication sector. With more than eighteen years of experience in R&D and product management at TRUMPF, Bunz has spent the past five years at the TRUMPF Smart Factory near Chicago helping customers to implement fully autonomous laser cutting and sorting solutions into production.
As of July 1, 2025, Sickinger is responsible for TRUMPF’s West Coast machine tool and TruServices operations. He has been with TRUMPF for more than seven years, most recently as head of industrial engineering at TRUMPF Inc. in Farmington.
Ariza takes over the position formerly held by longtime TRUMPF sales manager Brian Welz, who worked for the company for more than 37 years before his recent passing. Flor also brings extensive industry and technical knowledge of the company’s products and services and has worked at TRUMPF in sales, service and customer-focused roles for more than 16 years.
“From coast to coast, customers can rely on experienced TRUMPF experts to guide them toward the right enabling technology and flexible solutions for their manufacturing work,” said TRUMPF Inc. Executive Vice President Burke Doar. “We are excited to promote these four highly skilled, knowledgeable and service-oriented professionals to meet the growing nationwide demand for robotics and punching/combination punch-laser machinery from TRUMPF, and to support our customers on the West Coast and in the southern region of the United States.”
