Bossard Group sales down 1.6 percent in 2Q
Bossard Group saw a 3.2 percent drop in sales to CHF 218.7 million ($222.3 milion) in the second quarter.
In the first half of the year, Bossard posted a 1.0 percent increase to CHF 450.9 million ($458.3 million).
Following the pleasing business performance in 2017 and 2018, Bossard has been fighting headwinds in America in recent months, the company said. In the second quarter, net sales fell by 9.9 percent to CHF 55.3 million ($56.2 million). In the first half of 2019, sales declined by 5.1 percent to CHF 113.4 million ($115.3 million).
For the first half of 2019, Bossard Group reports a net income of CHF 41.6 million ($42.3 million).
