Ingersoll Rand posts double-digit revenue gain

Ingersoll Rand reported record double-digit revenue growth in the second quarter of 2021.


Revenues of $1.3 billion were up 25 percent from $1.0 billion in the same quarter last year.

Orders for total compressor offerings, which represent approximately 65 percent of the total segment, were up approximately 45 percent, as were orders in Industrial Vacuum & Blowers. Orders in Power Tools and Lifting were up in excess of 55 percent.

Net income of $233.9 million, or 55 cents per diluted share, compared to a loss of $177.6 million, or a loss of 43 cents per share, in the same period of 2020.
