Ingersoll Rand revenues up 4 percent
Ingersoll-Rand plc reported revenues of $4.5 billion in the second quarter, a 4 percent improvement from $4.3 billion in last year's second quarter.
Net earnings of $456.1 million, or $1.86 per diluted share, improved from $448.1 million, or $1.79, in the same period last year.
Climate segment revenues of $3.6 billion increased by 4 percent from $3.5 billion last year.
Industrial segment net revenues of $910 million were up 5 percent from $864 million in last year's second quarter.
