Fastenal July sales increase by 4.7 percent
Fastenal reported sales of $491.7 million in July, a 4.7 percent increase from $469.5 million in July 2020.
Daily sales of $23.4 million grew by 9.7 percent from $21.3 million.
Sales to manufacturing customers improved by 22.5 percent, while sales to non-residential construction customers improved by 9.5 percent.
By geography, sales in the United States increased by 8.2 percent, sales to Mexico/Canada improved by 20.5 percent, and sales to the rest of the world increased by 11.5 percent.
Fastener sales increased by 22.3 percent in July compared to last year, while sales of safety related products declined 5.4 percent, reflecting the heightened interest in safety products during the pandemic in 2020.
