Milwaukee Tool affiliate buys building for expansion

An affiliate of Milwaukee Electric Tool has purchased an office building in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, for future expansion.

According to an article published in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the nearly 53,000-square-foot, two-story office building is within a 10-minute drive of the Brookfield, Wisconsin-based tool maker's headquarters.

The property sold for $4.7 million to Schwer, Pflicht & Werkzeug Properties LLC, according to state real estate documents posted online Tuesday.

The buyer's registered address is 13135 W. Lisbon Road, which is also the address for Milwaukee Tool's headquarters.

The buyer's name features three German words that translate into English as Heavy, Duty and Tool.

“As we continue to grow our presence here in southeastern Wisconsin, we are looking into additional space to consolidate our operations,” Ty Stavinski, chief financial officer for Milwaukee Tool, said in a statement.
