Fastenal reports strong sales in August
Fastenal's sales of $644.7 million in August soared 21.4 percent from $531.1 million in August of 2021.
Daily sales of $28 million improved from $24.1 million in August of last year. August 2022 had 23 business days, compared to 22 business days in August 2021.
Sales to manufacturing customers improved by 23.5 percent, while sales to non-residential construction customers grew by 5.8 percent.
By product category, sales of fasteners grew by 19.8 percent, while sales of safety products improved by 11.7 percent.
