Force Control's Fuhrman retires
Force Control Industries announces the retirement of Rick Fuhrman following a 47 ½ year career.
Through nearly five decades, he has held various positions within the company, mainly within inside sales as inside sales manager, traffic manager, and most recently as export sales manager. His last day at Force Control is Wednesday, Sept. 29.
Fuhrman started in February of 1974 and has had a firsthand view of the technologies that have changed within the company and within the industry, including the transitions from receiving orders via teletype to fax to email. Specifying and equipment drawings have also changed dramatically, from the early days when hard copy drawing sets were sent out to customers, to sharing CAD drawings, as have the industries served. Throughout that time, the company has evolved, and Fuhrman has kept working hard to serve customers.
Headquartered in Fairfield, Ohio, Force Control Industries offers a full line of clutches, brakes, and clutch brakes for OEMs in diverse applications.
