Ohio Transmission acquires Tape Industrial
Ohio Transmission Corporation announced the acquisition of Tape Industrial Sales Inc.
The Louisville, Kentucky-based company specializes in industrial finishing and sealant/adhesive applications.
Founded in 1975, Tape Industrial Sales represents product lines in the fluid management industry. One of only three Graco-certified sealant and adhesive division technology centers, the company specializes in supplying the industry with paint, powder and sealant and adhesive application; and fluid management equipment, including fluid pumping, transferring, dispensing, metering and spraying equipment for paints, resins, adhesives, sealants, solvents, lubricants, inks, chemicals, foods and sanitary products. Tape Industrial Sales, Inc.’s corporate offices include a sealant/adhesive demonstration lab, warehouse parts department and complete repair service facility. The company serves customers in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee.

The company will become a division of OTP Industrial Solutions, which provides technical sales and service for industrial automation, motion control, fluid power, pumps, spray finishing, sealant and adhesive application and power transmission systems and products. Tape Industrial Sales, Inc., will continue to operate under the same name and with current local management, including Ryan Tape, CEO, who will remain in a consulting role, and Ralph Ciolek, president, who will lead the team.
