Dallas Industries, PMA honor Gentilia on retirement 

Dallas Industries, a manufacturer of press feeding equipment and controls for the stamping industry, and the Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) recognized Joe Gentilia for his many years of service to the company, the industry, and the association.

The honor was presented at the September FABTECH 2023 Show in Chicago.

Gentilia’s career started in engineering services for a coil handling press feeding design company before coming to Dallas Industries in 1970. His career with Dallas Industries has spanned over 50 years and started with building and selling feed line equipment. He also was a draftsman and service technician. He eventually had the opportunity to buy the company and did so in 1988 with his partner Robert Klotz. In 2006 they sold the company to a Chicago firm, and then bought Dallas Industries back with new business partner, Willie Chacko.

David Klotz, president of PMA presented a plaque to Gentilia that read, “PMA expresses sincere appreciation to Joe Gentilia for his tireless dedication to the MetalForming industry and active involvement in the association and the East Michigan District throughout the years. Thank you for your longtime support of PMA.”

Gentilia has been a member of PMA since 1989 and will continue his involvement with the association during his retirement.

When asked what he is most proud of, Gentilia responded, “Serving our customers with integrity and quality products.”
